DFA otorga fondos para fortalecer el cuidado animal en comunidades rurales<\/b> <\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

SANTA FE \u2013 El Departamento de Finanzas y Administraci\u00f3n de Nuevo M\u00e9xico (DFA) otorg\u00f3 $3 millones en fondos a 25 gobiernos locales en todo el estado para apoyar mejoras en las instalaciones de refugios de animales. <\/span><\/p>\n

Los fondos ayudar\u00e1n a garantizar atenci\u00f3n y servicios de calidad para gatos y perros dom\u00e9sticos en las comunidades de Nuevo M\u00e9xico. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n

DFA evalu\u00f3 las solicitudes utilizando una f\u00f3rmula de puntuaci\u00f3n que consider\u00f3 la preparaci\u00f3n del proyecto, el alcance y la fase de desarrollo. El departamento prioriz\u00f3 los proyectos que demostraron necesidades inmediatas de mejoras en las instalaciones para apoyar a los animales bajo cuidado. <\/span><\/p>\n

La gobernadora Michelle Lujan Grisham firm\u00f3 <\/span>el Proyecto de Ley 113 de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes<\/a><\/span> el 8 de abril, estableciendo el Programa de Bienestar Animal de Nuevo M\u00e9xico. El programa proporciona un marco para el apoyo estatal continuo a las iniciativas de bienestar animal centradas en el cuidado y refugio de gatos y perros.<\/span> <\/p>\n
