El programa crea un marco de financiamiento para apoyar iniciativas de bienestar animal en todo el estado para gatos y perros domesticados.<\/span><span class=\"eop\"> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\"><span> <\/span><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>\"Este programa representa nuestro compromiso de tratar a los animales con la compasi\u00f3n y el cuidado que merecen, al tiempo que brindamos a nuestras comunidades los recursos necesarios para abordar los desaf\u00edos del bienestar animal\", dijo la <b>gobernadora Michelle Lujan Grisham<\/b>. \"Al invertir en la mejora de los refugios de animales, reducir las tasas de eutanasia y ampliar los servicios de esterilizaci\u00f3n y castraci\u00f3n, estamos construyendo un Nuevo M\u00e9xico m\u00e1s humano tanto para los animales como para las personas que cuidan de ellos\".<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span><\/span><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>A partir del 1 de julio, el DFA podr\u00e1 otorgar subvenciones a municipios, condados, gobiernos tribales y organizaciones sin fines de lucro elegibles (a trav\u00e9s de entidades gubernamentales) para varios prop\u00f3sitos vitales:<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>Mejorar y operar refugios de animales.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>Controlar a los <\/span><\/span><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>perros y gatos callejeros.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>Hacer cumplir las leyes contra la crueldad animal.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>Reducir las tasas de eutanasia.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>Ampliar los servicios de esterilizaci\u00f3n y castraci\u00f3n. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span> <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span>\u201cEsta legislaci\u00f3n refleja nuestro compromiso colectivo de fomentar una sociedad que valore y salvaguarde el bienestar de nuestros compa\u00f1eros animales\u201d, dijo la patrocinadora del proyecto de ley, la <b>representante Tara L.
